Mechanical Engineer

Job description

With us you can actually see the machine you have designed 'in action' in our assembly hall.  That is what makes this job very interesting! Furthermore, thanks to the short lead time of our projects, you have a lot of variety in your work. Does this appeal to you and do you see it as a challenge to develop further within mechanical engineering? Then we are looking for you!

Your challenge as an Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, your challenge lies in the design of (parts of) packaging machines. Consider, for example, machines that package candy in boxes for the supermarket, but also machines in a distribution center where your package is prepared for shipment. In short: all around you see (indirect) results of your work. Our machines are divided into standard machines, modular machines and customer-specific 'special' machines. In this position, the emphasis is on complex modular machines and customer-specific machines. In addition to engineering work, you will also remain involved in the construction and testing phase of these machines. You answer questions from the assembly technicians and, where necessary, think along about solutions. There is certainly also room for your new ideas. Of course you will work a lot with the hardware and software engineers from your position. Furthermore, as a specialist within your field, you are a sparring partner and (technical content) supervisor for other engineers.

What do we offer you as a Mechanical Engineer?
First of all, a pleasant working environment with an open culture in which you are valued. The informal, human atmosphere ensures that you quickly feel at home with us. Furthermore, we can proudly say that you will work in a healthy and growing organization with plenty of opportunities for development and growth. During our barbecue, Christmas celebration and other fun (team) events, you will also have the opportunity to get to know your colleagues outside of work. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer you an excellent package of benefits. Think about:

  • 27 vacation days;
  • 13 adv days;
  • Profit-dependent allowance;
  • Pension scheme with +/- 50% employer's contribution;
  • 8% holiday pay;
  • Good travel allowance;
  • Collective health insurance;
  • Interesting discounts on "weekend breaks" and household equipment, among other things.
