What makes our vacancy of Service Manager so interesting? You fulfill a real pivotal function in addition to managing the internal service department. You are the point of contact for various departments and together with your team you play an important role when it comes to where our customer buys his/her next machine!



Your challenge as Service Manager
As a Service Manager you are responsible for the direct management of the Internal Service department, consisting of Service Coordinators and Technical Helpdesk employees (15 FTE). This department takes care of everything from the moment a machine is delivered. Think of installations, maintenance work, malfunctions and retrofits. Our Service Coordinators prepare these projects and guide them to a successful delivery. The technical helpdesk provides remote support for our distributors and end users. As Service Manager Internal Service, your challenge lies in bringing structure and tranquility to the department. In addition, you also tackle challenging projects yourself and you have frequent contact with all departments, especially Engineering and Sales.

Who are we?

We are Lantech; a healthy and growing international organization within mechanical engineering. We design, build and service packaging machines, transport modules and other additional systems. We have offices in the Netherlands, America, Australia and China. Our customers are diverse and located in different sectors. For example, we work for large multinationals within the food industry, but also for local entrepreneurs.


In Malden (the Netherlands) we develop and assemble box and tray handling machines. With more then 200 committed colleagues and a strong network of partners, we arrange sales and service within Europe from here.

Job requirements

Your background as a Service Manager

  • A completed Bachelor's in a technical direction;
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in a technical environment, for example as a Service Manager, Service Coordinator, Project Leader or Sales Engineer;
  • You have leadership skills and are preferably a coaching manager;
  • You are analytically strong, customer-oriented and have a firm footing;
  • A good command of the English language. German is an advantage.
